General Questions
  • YourINspot is the one place where you can share all your original creations; your rhymes, beats, artwork, poetry, thoughts, photos. It is also a marketplace for you to sell or purchase original creations. It is also a channel for you to improve by battling other members and gain exposure by performing at YourINspot sponsored events.
  • YourINspot is for anyone who has anything they want to share with others - like freestyles, original beats, original artwork, poetry etc. YourINspot creates a community around your passions by making it easy to find others and for others to find you.
  • • Anything; You created or designed it; you can post it. • Audio and video files - any type of multimedia. • Original artwork, sketches, paintings, etc. • Poetry, spoken word, manuscripts, etc.
  • YourINspot is unique in several ways: • YourINspot is the one place on the Web for any and all digital content and a marketplace for your original creations. • YourINspot offers one account that allows you to upload anything and provides exposure that can turn your dreams into reality. • YourINspot creates the community that will know you as an artist, producer, poet etc. and a stage for you to perform for this community. We provide opportunities for you to collaborate with other members of this community. • YourINspot provides a marketplace for you to sell your original creations or purchase the original creations from other members of this community.
  • The service we're offering is completely free (including storage), with the exception of the IN-store marketplace selling services. Please see the IN-store User Agreement for fees associated with selling items this site.
Password and Security Questions
  • Everything you upload is absolutely secure. It's all stored on a secure server and you control access to every item. You have the option of displaying uploaded items to the entire community (recommended for maximum exposure) or members in your network.
  • That's something you should give careful thought to. Some hints on creating a secure password is below: Don't use: • Any number associated with you, such as your birthday, phone number, address, passport number or social security number. • Any word, in any language, that could be found in a dictionary. • Dictionary words with common number/letter substitutions, such as zeros for the letter O, ones for the letter L or I, threes for E, etc. • Any of the words associated with or containing your username. Ways to keep your password safe: • Use a mix of capital and lowercase letters. • Make your password longer than our 6-character minimum. Long passwords are harder to crack. • Use a mixture of letters and numbers. • Include punctuation marks, such as .,!@# etc.
  • Click on the link "I forgot my password" on the sign-in page, and you'll be able to type in your e-mail address. Enter the e-mail address of the account you're trying to access and we'll send the password to this address.
  • Our process of selection for the "hit of the week" is based on the feedback from the YourINspot community. The more people that view your uploads, the better your chances of being the hit of the week.
Using YourINspot Questions
  • To become a member of YourINspot, go to the "Signup" page (http://www.YourINspot.com/signup), choose a username and password, and enter your information.
  • Yes, having the hit of the week puts you in the running to be selected as a dj, performer or producer at YourINspot concerts and events.
  • From your user page at www.YourINspot.com. You can create folders, manage uploads, shared content, and edit your YourINspot profile.
  • Sharing on YourINspot is very easy! When you upload an item simply choose one of the two sharing options: "public", if you want to share it with the entire YourINspot community and world, or "network" if you want to share it with only those members in your YourINspot network.
  • The law doesn't allow you to distribute anything that belongs to other people without their consent. So it's illegal to upload copyrighted material to your YourINspot account, unless you hold the copyright.
